Masjed Assaber provides marriage services for bachelor brothers and sisters.  Here are the steps needed to perform marriage:

1. The groom needs to contact the Islamic Center of Portland - Masjed As-Saber and talk to the imam in person.
2. The Masjed interviews the couple to provide information about conditions which need to be met such as Dowary (Mahr), wali, .... etc before the Nikah (Marriage) contract is performed.
3. Once everything checks out, Masjed As-Saber sets an appointment to perfrom the contract
4. On the set date for Marriage, the Marriage Certificate is written and provided to the marrying couple
5. The masjed collects $100 for marriage fees

Please be aware that Masjed As-Saber perform marriages in person only.

- The Masjed does not do marriages over the internet or over the phone. 

- The Masjed collects $100 for performing the marriage which goes to the Masjed expenses

- The Masjed does not perform marriages on the fly. The couple has to meet with the imam ahead of time to make sure all conditions are met. Some conditions require wait period and some paper work that is done before the marriage.

- Remember, the imam is busy and he has to schedule every marriage. Please do not dictate a specific date if the imam can not make it

- Marriages performed at Masjed As-Saber are only performed by Masjed As-Saber imam. Nobody is allowed to perform any marriages even if they are imams of other mosques.

يقدم مسجد الصبر خدماته للإخوة والأخوات الراغبين بالزواج. هنا ما هو

مطلوب تحقيقه لإجراء الزواج

أولاً: يحتاج العريس الإتصال بالمركز الإسلامي في بورتلاند - مسجد الصبر والتحدث إلى الإمام شخصيًا

ثانياً: المسجد أو الإمام يحدد مقابلة للعروسين للحصول على معلومات حول الشروط التي يجب الوفاء بها قبل إتمام عقد النكاح مثل المهر، والولي ، وطريقة الزواج ... إلخ

ثالثاً: بمجرد إتمام كل الشروط، يحدد مسجد الصبر موعدًا لكتابة العقد وإتمام الزواج

رابعاً: في الموعد المحدد للزواج ، يتم تزويج العروسين واعطاؤهم عقد الزواج

خامساً: المسجد يجمع 100 دولار كرسوم الزواج

يرجى العلم أن مسجد الصبر يقوم بالزواج بشكل شخصي فقط. لا يقوم المسجد بالتزويج عبر الإنترنت أو عبر الهاتف.

- المسجد لا يؤدّي التزويج الفوري. يجب على الزوجين مقابلة الإمام في وقت مبكر للتأكد من استيفاء جميع الشروط. تتطلب بعض الشروط فترة انتظار وبعض الأعمال الورقية أو المستندات التي تتم قبل الزواج.

تذكر أن الإمام مشغول وعليه أن يحجزموعداً لكل زواج. من فضلك لا تملي موعدا محددا إذا لم يتمكن الإمام من الحضور

التزويج الذي يتم في مسجد الصبر لا يتم تنفيذه إلا من قبل إمام مسجد الصبر. لا يجوز لأحد غير الإمام المخول من مسجد الصبر أن يزوج الناس في المسجد حتى لو كان أماماً لمسجد أخر
